Lake Tahoe is a magical place. A beautiful crystal clear mountain lake. On the southwest corner is Emerald Bay. If you are willing to wake up early enough, it’s a stunning place to watch the sunrise.

Explosions in the Sky

A light-painted, fireworks star-trail (barely) shot at Lake Tahoe. Thanks to Fielding, Kevin and Meagan for the good times, good company and strawberries

Strobist: The rocks are illuminated by a warm incandescent torch from both sides. After the fireworks show, then left the camera exposing for another 30 mins or so.
